Hilly Cow wigwams Welcomed Joe Wicks and family onsite with Biker bandb, last summer. Joe came for a well earned break after doing P.E sessions for the whole nation during the covid pandemic. We where one of the many stops on there Triumph Biking tour round Scotland. It was a pleasure to have them stay at our Glamping site and experience the beautiful scenery and roads of Scotland. Joe’s brother seemed to love checking the animals with my husband stewart.
Charlie Boorman also came to stay at Hilly Cow wigwams last summer with Biker bandb on a Highland Fling trip round our beautiful countryside while mastering the small twisty raods on fanstic motor bikes. Charlie is of course famous for biking round the world with Ewan Mcgregor. He had such a wealth of knowledge along with amazing stories to tell, a really pleasure to meet this gentleman Charlie Boorman.
A few years ago Hilly Cow Wigwams welcomed Geordie Shore Cast to our Glamping site, near Edinburgh, October 2017 as part of thier Toon Tours. Geordie Shore cast Nathan, Aarron, Sam, Chloe, Steph, Marnie and Abbie visited Edinbrgh promoting some of or fantastic local tourist attractions such as Old Reekie tours, before coming to stay at Hilly Cow Wigwams (West Lothian). The whole cast and crew where a delight to have on sight with lots of smiles. Lights Camera Action found Farmer Stewart and myself ducking and diving to be out of shot.
After a night partying at Edinburgh’s night club scene there was lots giggles and laughter at Hilly Cow. They cooked their own breakfast in our lovely amenity block with a couple of our breakfast baskets (locally supplied Mark Mcgill). We then took some of the cast on a wee farm tour with us safely behind the cameras! We did managed to get a few photos with the cast before they headed off on thier next adventure.
